Stories You Can Sit With

I write stories that stay with you.

I fictionalize real experiences women endure to show the strength we sometimes forget we have until something forces it out of us. I often incorporate paranormal elements to offer insight into what is happening beneath the surface of those experiences and to help readers see what is felt but not always spoken.

The women in my stories deal with control, pressure, silence, injustice, and the choices they are forced to make, along with the consequences that follow. My stories move toward resolution, even when the ending leaves room for what comes next.

My stories are emotionally intense and uncomfortable, sometimes almost impossible to imagine or accept. The women are powerful, but not in the beginning. They become who they need to become by looking inward and bringing what is inside them out.

My published novels include The Wolf, Dark Justice: Nightmare, Dark Justice: Awake, and The Dark-Skinned Sister. These books are grounded in real experiences and written as fiction.
